High Density Cylindrical Strip Heaters
Our proprietary DB and DBW Band Heaters contain the legendary Chromalox PT style strip heater, which is formed to various standard diameters. The bands are available in 1 1/2" and 2 1/2" widths and come equipped with high temperature Inconel spring loaded clamps to combat thermal expansion at elevated temperatures up to 1200°F (650°C). DB and DBW bands became a standard on legacy Injection Molding machine barrels, solder pots, autoclaves and heat treating equipment.
DB 1-1/2" One-Piece Band Heater
Chromalox DB band heaters are used in a variety of industrial heating applications: heating barrels of plastic injection molding machines and extruders, die and die holders of plastic extruders and blow molding machines, autoclaves, burnout ovens, heated kettles, fluidized beds, heat treating pipes, and any application requiring heat to a cylindrical surface. Available in 240/480 V and 1-1/2 heater width.
DBW 2-1/2" One-Piece Band Heater
